Common Sands is about Common Sense for Our Beaches, Our Neighbors, Our Community.
This is an issue for all the beaches along the shores of Florida - it is just a matter of time before more poles, cones, and barriers start to spring up - unless we help the Town of Palm Beach and Florida take action now.

UPDATE
There is now precedence in other Florida Towns for a new ordinance to be passed that prohibits homeowners from installing monopoles, ropes, cones and sea oats on the beach to prevent public passage and use of the sand that has been enjoyed for decades.

The Town of Palm Beach has a rich legacy steeped in architecture, historic landmarks, and legendary resorts, yet at our core, we are a small peaceful community built around the beauty of the Atlantic Ocean and the Intracoastal Waterway – we are an Island.
Common Sands is about our common history, our love of the beach, and the desire to maintain our spirit of community. While we take on this task of protecting our rights to use the beach as residents of Palm Beach, we will keep you updated.
We also look forward to your participation, and would certainly love to hear from you, understand your experiences and hear your thoughts.
